Runs in your browser

Photo Editor runs locally in your browser with Canvas. Selected photo pixels are not uploaded by this page; exported copies may remove metadata, flatten animation frames, and change color-profile details.

What this tool does

Photo Editor combines common browser-local photo edits in one place: drag/drop and paste input, blank canvases, undo/redo, zoom and pan, drag-to-crop, resize, rotate, flip, draw, pick colors, brightness, contrast, saturation, warmth, presets, vignette, grain, and export format.

Why it is useful

It is useful when you need a fast all-in-one editor for web assets, thumbnails, listings, blog images, social posts, and drafts without uploading the original image.

How it works

The selected, dropped, pasted, or blank image is decoded in the browser, cropped and transformed on a canvas, adjusted pixel-by-pixel, optionally annotated with brush strokes, then exported as a new PNG, JPG, or WebP file.

Best input

Use JPG, PNG, or WebP photos and screenshots, paste a clipboard image, drop a file, or start from a blank canvas. Keep a copy of the original if metadata, exact color, or archival quality matters.

Editing order

Crop and resize first, then rotate or flip, then tune color, pick colors or draw annotations, and export the edited canvas.

Privacy note

The editor uses local browser APIs and does not intentionally upload selected image files.

Important limitation

Canvas export is not a professional color-managed workflow. Very large files can be slower, and exported images may lose EXIF metadata or embedded profiles.

Quick answers

Does this upload my photo?

No. The editor uses local browser Canvas APIs for preview and export.

Can this replace Photoshop or Lightroom?

No. It supports a practical stack of image, paint, and solid-fill layers, but not masks, RAW processing, advanced typography, or calibrated color work.

Common Use Cases

Prepare a product listing image

Crop to the subject, resize to a marketplace-friendly width, brighten slightly, and export WebP or JPG.

Make a social thumbnail

Use the cinematic or portrait preset, crop by dragging around the subject, draw a callout, and export a clean thumbnail draft.

Fix a screenshot for a blog post

Crop away chrome, resize to the column width, sharpen the contrast, and export PNG.

Image Toolkit workflow

Move between compressing, resizing, converting, cropping, encoding, favicon generation, resolution math, and palette extraction while keeping image pixels local to the browser.
